Malaria Symptoms & Prevention Tips


Malaria is an infection of the blood cell that is part of the infection in the red blood cells. Transmitted by mosquitoes that carry the parasite that causes malaria. If this parasite-carrying mosquitoes bite you, the parasite can get into your blood.
Parasite eggs, which will then be developed, to replicate to become many, and the parasite life of your blood cells until you become ill. If left untreated, malaria can be extremely fatal, resulting in the death of someone.

This disease is most prevalent in tropical and subtropical areas where Plasmodium parasite can develop both as well as the Anopheles mosquito vector. Areas south of the Sahara in Africa and Papua New Guinea in Oceania are the places with the highest incidence of malaria.

The following are symptoms and signs of malaria:

Symptoms of mild malaria:

1. Periodic chills and fever is usually accompanied by headache.
2. Pale from lack of blood (anemia).
3. Sometimes it starts with the body feels weak, nausea (can be up to vomit), and also no appetite.
4. The body felt weak, tired.

Symptoms of severe malaria:

1. Fast breathing.
2. Convulsions.
3. Eyes slightly yellow.
4. Exit excessive sweating.
5. Nausea and vomiting.
6. Urine dark brown (like tea).
7 Feeling cold or stiff on the entire body.
8. High fever (fever may reach 104 degrees Fahrenheit or higher).
9. Discomfort called malaise (feeling sick to your body) and pain on the entire body.
10. Loss of consciousness (delirium, speaking one, staying asleep, quiet, and behavior change).
11. Vomiting, fainting into a coma.

Prevention tips yourself from malaria:

1. Do not often stay up if it is not necessary.
2. Do not often eat late.
3. Do not get too tired.
4. Do not like to sleep in the morning.
5. Drink plenty of water.
6. cleaning the home environment.
7. bury the used goods.
8. clearing the bushes around the house.
9. kill adult mosquitoes by spraying homes with insecticide or insecticide.
10. kill mosquito larva-eating fish larvae with a cast.
